Dipesa Group, sponsor of the II Marine Forum of Ibiza and Formentera
The Ibiza Preservation Foundation organizes its second Marine Forum of Ibiza and Formentera on November 5th and 6th.
This second edition will present the objectives achieved from the first Forum held in 2019, and as a novelty will include the first edition of the Future Forum, dedicated to the education of young people through the participation of local schools, trying to raise awareness of the importance of protecting our islands.
This meeting, which brings together personalities from all sectors, committed and concerned with the preservation of the marine environment, aims to become the annual reference space for reflection and problem solving in the Marine field. The three key objectives of the Marine Forum for the formulation of solutions are to contribute to reducing discharges of wastewater into the sea, improving the protection of coastal habitats and the elimination of single-use plastics (plastic free).
Therefore, and due to the special awareness of this company for the preservation of the environment, one more year Dipesa Group will be part of this event as a sponsor, thus collaborating with the provision of all the transfers for the realization of the event. It is very important for us to protect our islands and to make everyone aware of the need for sustainable tourism and growth.
Sandra Benbeniste, Director of the Ibiza Preservation Fund, mentions the enormous improvement experienced by air and water pollution in just a few weeks of COVID19 confinement, which has highlighted the impact of our daily activities on the world around us. Hence, she insists that we must continue to promote sustainable habits in our community. Habits such as buying local food or reducing the use of single-use plastics.
